I was born in Hastings and moved to Cuxton 64 years ago.
My first job on leaving school was in the Paint Factory that used to be in Cuxton before closing, where I worked for 25 years. When that closed, my next job was in the Auto Bar in Strood, where I worked for 12 years.
I finished work there to be more local to my home in Cuxton, and for the last 12 years I have worked for Cuxton Parish Council as the Street Cleaner.
