Considering changes?
If you are considering changing the use of land / buildings that you own in Cuxton, or if you would like to make significant alterations to them, you will usually need to seek permission from Medway Council.
Some alterations will not need permission, but you should check beforehand in any case.
Medway Council will then advise on the best course of action, and signpost you through the planning application process.

Submitted plans
All formal planning applications within Cuxton, will be discussed by Cuxton Parish Council at regular Planning Committee meetings.
Cuxton Parish Council, along with any affected resident, will be given the opportunity to comment on each application, but the ultimate decision of whether or not the application is successful rests with Medway Council.
